Indestructible – My Love Playlist

I remember blasting this “Indestructible” while driving up the I-95 (? Not sure if that’s the correct freeway – it’s the one that runs north and south along the east coast) from South Carolina to DC from my sister trip in Folly Beach (super amazing place I can’t wait to go back to next month) to go to DC for some business meetings. You know, I believe every date is a teacher, and every person in your life is a teacher, but some of those teachers are harder than others to get over. I’m not sure why that is, I just remember that this last teacher gave me a run for my money. I was sad. Maybe because I thought it was love, but it wasn’t. I knew wanted true love. I knew it was possible to find true love even after shit happens, and I wanted to love like I’d never been hurt before. So, I listened to this song to help me and make me stronger. What’s the alternative? Just remain pissed and hurt? Remain in the feelings where you are pissed that it didn’t work out how you wanted it to? Makes me think of the Unanswered Prayers song by Garth Brooks. Thank you God for unanswered prayers. Thank God I didn’t get what I thought I wanted. That was not real love and God had other plans, and I’m so grateful.

I’m going backwards through time at the speed of light

I’m yours, you’re mine, two satellites

A freeze-frame of your eye in the strobe light

Sweat dripping down from your brow, hold tight

Don’t let go

Don’t you let me go

And I never was smart with love

I let the bad ones in and the good ones go

But I’m gonna love you like I’ve never been hurt before

I’m gonna love you like I’m indestructible

Your love is ultra magnetic and it’s taking over

This is hardcore

And I’m indestructible

Hands up in the air like we don’t care

We’re shooting deep into space

And the lasers split the dark

Cut right through the dark

It’s just us, we ignore the crowd dancing

Fall to the floor

Beats in my heart

Put your hands on my heart

And I never was smart with love

I let the bad ones in and the good ones go

Listening to songs like Indestructible by Robyn helped me find true love after divorce

But I’m gonna love you like I’ve never been hurt before

I’m gonna love you like I’m indestructible

Your love is ultra magnetic and it’s taking over

This is hardcore

Ooh and I’m gonna love you like

Like I’ve never been hurt before

I’m gonna love you like I’m indestructible

Your love is ultra magnetic and it’s taking over

This is hardcore

And I’m indestructible

Find love and love like you are indestructible my love playlist

Finding True Love in my love playlist lyrics

I know what it’s like to be hurt, to be abused, to go through a divorce, to raise two kids alone, to be a single mom for years, to go through foreclosure and bankruptcy alone and think you’ll never find love again. But listening to my love playlist helped me feel good, helped keep me focused on my end goal: to love and to be loved, and to find true love. It helped me remember that it was possible! I am one of those single moms finding love! So why can’t you?
