“When Love Takes Over” by David Guetta was my go-to song while I was doing cardio. I can remember times when I was on the stair stepper or the treadmill, thinking I wanted love to take over and I wanted to be in love so badly, that tears would literally come to my eyes. For a long time I was a single mom, but it wasn’t until I began to focus on what I wanted that I attracted my husband. When love takes over it’s the greatest feeling in the world. When I found love again, I couldn’t sleep I was so excited. And now I’m excited to share with you the strategy I used for finding my soulmate, and part of it was listening exclusively to my actual playlist…which kept me on my game and focused ONLY on what I wanted.

While listening to the words to this song, I visualized my soulmate and all of the things we would do together when we met. And I worked on getting my butt into shape. It was hard work! All of it. The work I did on my body, my health, both mentally and physically. And then it happened! If it worked for me, it can work for you. Feels like I waited so long for this! I sang those words over and over in my head. Believe me, it was well worth the wait. Today I am stronger. Today we have the love that took over, and it’s ours to share. You can find it, too. It just takes that one first step to get started, and that step means believing in yourself and believing that there is someone out there waiting for you. Just like my soulmate was waiting for me.
