My sister Kristen introduced me to “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit, feat. Jess Glynne in the summer of 2014, my last single summer, when we did our sisters trip to Folly Beach South Carolina, one of many favorite places, and one of my favorite trips! At the same time I was there, my future husband was in a different part of South Carolina with his son. Pretty crazy all the synchronicities you find after you get together with your beloved. This song made me happy dance and helped keep that feeling in my heart that someday I would sing “When I am with you there’s no place I’d rather be” about my husband and actually mean it.
