In Your Eyes by The Weeknd

In Your Eyes by The Weeknd

I used to say, “I want to marry someone like John Stanley.” I knew him for years when I was single, and I never EVER thought I would date him, but literally said that several times. I noticed things about him that I really liked. I love the way he genuinely cares about people, I love the way he gives everyone his time and attention, and he always had badass suits on, walks a million miles an hour, and talks just as fast, too! I love that I had to run to keep up with him! Me! I’m 5’10” and everyone walks slower than I! Except John. This is what I think of when I hear these lyrics from this song: I tried to find love in someone else too many times, but I hope you know I mean it when I tell you you’re the one that was on my mind.
Your words and intentions are so powerful! Who you attract is not random! It’s not “luck” that I married “someone like” John Stanley.
Oh, yeah
I just pretend that I’m in the dark
I don’t regret ’cause my heart can’t take a loss
I’d rather be so oblivious
I’d rather be with you
When it’s said, when it’s done, yeah
I don’t ever wanna know
I can tell what you done, yeah
When I look at you
In your eyes
I see there’s something burning inside you
Fire burning
This is one of my favorite songs at the moment. Lyrics like these remind me of when I was searching for Mr. Right.

Oh, inside you
In your eyes
I know it hurts to smile but you try to
Oh, you try to

You always try to hide the pain
You always know just what to say
I always look the other way
I’m blind, I’m blind
In your eyes, you lie, but I don’t let it define you
Oh, define you
I tried to find love
In someone else too many times
But I hope you know I mean it (mean it)
When I tell you you’re the one that was on my mind, oh
The Weeknd
Stop going for the wrong people and find the one you would do anything for.

When it’s said, when it’s done, yeah
I would never let you know (let you know)
I’m ashamed of what I’ve done, yeah
When I look at you

In your eyes (your eyes)

I see there’s something burning inside you (inside you)
Oh, inside you (oh, inside you)
In your eyes
I know it hurts to smile but you try to (but you try to)
Oh, you try to (I try to)

You always try to hide the pain (oh, oh)
You always know just what to say (oh, dear)
I always look the other way
I’m blind, I’m blind
In your eyes, you lie, but I don’t let it define you (hey)
Oh, define you
Don't let it define you
You can’t hide the pain behind someone’s eyes. Find someone who will ease your pain.

In your eyes
I see there’s something burning inside you
Oh, inside you

You always try to hide the pain
You always know just what to say
I always look the other way
I’m blind, I’m blind
In your eyes, you lie, but I don’t let it define you
Oh, define you
I’m so glad I have kids to show me new songs! They all send new songs that they think I would like, and play them for me in the car. My daughter sent me this song last week and I love it! I’m trying to add new songs all the time and build up a huge library of the best, most fun, inspirational songs on the planet that help you believe that finding true love is possible. I used music like this to help me create the beliefs that I could attract my soulmate and it WAS possible for me. I played music when I got discouraged or when I came home from a “bad date”. Now I know there is no such thing because everyone we have ever dated was just a teacher. Each person we have ever dated taught us something! Maybe it was only something we didn’t want, but that’s a good thing! Then you can write the opposite on your soulmate list and get closer and closer to attracting him! This is one of the strategies in my book Becoming Mrs. Stanley. I wrote it so I could help single mom’s believe it’s possible to find love after divorce, transform their beliefs about men and relationships, and attract the relationship they’ve always wanted. For more tips on attracting your soulmate, follow me on Instagram, and you can follow neon Spotify and add to my Love Playlist, too!
Wishing you lots of love!
